Amy H. Robinson, LCSW-R

Psychotherapist

Amy is a New York State Licensed Clinical Social Worker with 40 years experience serving in the counseling field. Her early work experience was in the addiction realm. Her personal experience with the disease of addiction, together with 9 years of practicing in an outpatient treatment setting, prepared her well, as addiction does touch almost all families in some way. There are many other challenges that lead to suffering that can interfere with living the life we want. These challenges include depression, anxiety, aging, pain, and other health concerns. We all experience loss and grief at some point in time and may feel alienated from those around us and even from the self we used to be before the loss. Therapy can help: It is a process of growth and change that occurs through the relationship we create working together on the issues that you are most concerned about. If you are an adult patient at Keuka Family Practice I am able to schedule with you in person at the Bath practice offices or virtually if you prefer that. I can share tools and techniques you might find helpful including Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, Breathwork, EFT “tapping,” and other mind/body strategies. Virtual counseling may also be arranged on a case by case basis if you are not a patient at Keuka Family Practice.
